Regulated Gas Tube
The Regulated Gas Tube helps eliminate gas port
erosion and associated increased cyclic rates, parts breakage
and light strike misfires. It features a unique valve, located
just behind the front sight, that offers a means of metering
the gas flow when the gas port has been widened by
erosion or by design. For instance, in the case of a barrel
with an eroded gas port, the valve allows the user to reduce
the cyclic rate to even lower levels than would be feasible
with a new barrel and standard gas tube.
The Regulated Gas Tube is available for both rifle and carbine versions of the AR15/M16. |
