In 1990, H-S Precision was granted US Patent (No. 5,020,260) which covers a unique lock-up and adjustment system for a take-down rifle system. This ajdustment system permits the user to compensate for normal wear of the receiver and barrel threads, insuring the same accuracy guarantee as all other Pro-Series 2000 rifles, no matter how many times the rifle is taken apart. The Pro-Series 2000 Take-Down Rifle System also permits multiple caliber rifle systems by adding extra barrels and bolts if necessary. The Pro-Series 2000 Take-Down Rifle System comes with the same accuracy guarantee as all Pro-Series rifles - 1/2 MOA for calibers up to and including 30 caliber. The repeatability is also guaranteed to 1/2 MOA.
